This issue pertains to instances when users attempt to open a database in Maintenance Log Pro, they receive a “Please Open a Database with Read / Write Access” error message.
We have identified the issue is generally caused by a user opening the database in Microsoft Access and subsequently converting said database to a later Access format, other than Access 97. Also, the issue can occur if a database file exists on a Windows network, and the read, write, and modify permissions to the file itself are revoked by an administrator for a specific user.
